Energy Plan
I believe that Carter's approach to our energy crisis is a good first step towards bettering our fuel situation. In order to make people change their fuel usage, the government must step in and try to regulate the amount of fuel used. Taxing gas guzzling cars will discourage the use of these cars thus decreasing the amount of fuel used. Also he plans to reward citizens who convert to alternative forms of energy by giving then tax credit or loans. Carter will also fund research to help find alternative energy sources that can be used in the place of gasoline.

Protest song
Machinist by Haveheart
the walking you keep chained
i see the growth which keep caged
and i've seen the minds that go un-raged
i see the body robbed of soul
to be the fuel for your control
i see the standing knocked to their knees,
and i've seen the human beings you treat
like machines
MACHINIST
i am not, i am not, i am not a machine
i am, i am, i am a human being
a stagnant life's a victory
for the lover of life that never breeds
perpetuate and obliterate
those addicted to living on their knees
the dealers deplete you,
yeah dealers beat you like you're drum without a tone
YOU'RE JUST SKIN AND BONES
until you say
NO MORE, NO MORE
unlike the silent machines who wont settle
THE SCORE, THE SCORE
unlike the lifeless objects they want you to be
Let our voices form the weapons
Our Voices
no silence,
no compliance,
in defiance of the rape of growth
This song is about Protesting how the government generalizes all people into becoming so entranced in their manipulation that they become more like machines than people. Machines that do what the government asks without any questions. This song is telling them to speak out against the government and how they treat the workers of the united states. "the lifeless objects they want you to be" this line tells how the government wants its citizens to be cooperative with everything and not question authority, Which is exactly what this song is telling people to do.

Equal Rights?
In 2010 it is fair to say that men and women have equal rights according to the government. But in society men and women do not have the same playing field. The biggest example i can think of is sports. Golf for instance, woman have their own tees that are moved up closer because according to society women are not strong enough to hit from the mens tee. All sports are separated into men and women divisions because apparently women do not have the necessary skills to compete with the men. True women have come a long way from where they used to be, but they are still not completely even with the men.

JFK trip
1. There was more than 2 shots fired at JFK's motorcade. JFK was not concerned with civil rights at the start of his presidency. The Cuban Missile crisis was during his presidency.
2. I thought the beginning movies were very interesting because they gave more insight to what we were about to see in the exhibits. The recreations of the campaign od the 1960's made the museum enjoyable too.
3. The only suggestion i have is to make the classroom time shorter. It dragged on for too long and set the visit off on the wrong foot.
4. I believe that JFK was truly one of the nations greatest presidents of all time. He passed so many important bills. He took the U.S. through the Cuban Missile Crisis which could have ended in nuclear war. So it could be said that JFK saved the planet from destruction.

butter battle ending
The two sides meet up at the top of the wall. They exchange insults at one another for a few lines. VanItch threatens to drop hi bomb first. But the Grandfather warns VanItch that if he drops the bomb on the Yook side, in return he will drop his on Zook town. The two sides continuously threat each other with their bombs, but nothing happens to either side. the empty threats by the two sides end up with them both admitting defeat and returning home. There was no victory by either side.
