In my opinion, the producers of the Simpson's prohibition episode did a very accurate job of portraying the 1920's prohibition era. Many of the parts of the episode were surprisingly truthful. the fact that they incorporated speakeasies, bootleggers and the mob were all surprising truthful aspects of prohibition. Overall, the accuracies did outweigh the fictional part of the episode. In the end i found that this episode was both historically accurate and fun to watch.
