War Freedoms
In a time of war, sometimes it is necessary for the American people to give up some of their freedoms in order to help with the war effort. In World War I when Americans were forced to conserve gasoline for the troops overseas, there was nothing illegal about that. The government should be able to amend the constitution to a certain extent during war time to increase the chances of victory. If the Government wants to set aside gas free days, then that should be constitutional. Even in a time of peace, a gas free day should be constitutional to help our environment. This being said, i think that true americans should give up some of their freedoms during a time of war.
